A Helping hand.....goes a long way

I am pretty sure ,most of us remember March 11th 2011 when Japan was hit by an earthquake measuring up to a magnitude of 8.9 and then to top it all off a Tsunami hit at the same time.
After  the earthquake and tsunami hit, the coldest conditions arose and thousand of people were left destitute and thousands dead.
I personally can’t imagine how it would feel to have your life wrecked in a matter of seconds because of a natural disaster. I guess though someone in SA didn’t have to imagine what it feels like and she did just what her heart told her to do and that was to help people in need.
The ever so stunning Lalla Hirayama did a fantastic job, by doing a great  charity event  that took place at The Zone – Rosebank on Sunday 27 March 2011 to help raise funds for those that are in need in Japan. What a great turn out and I am sure lots of money was raised..BIG UP TO LALLA J

After going to this event it got me thinking, of how we are so focused on ourselves that we forget those that are in pure need of anything and everything. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to donate used clothes, toys or even helping out with painting or repairing a home of a charity. Whether you are passionate about animals , kids, the elderly, or even a green peace loving person if you can do your bit get up and do it.
GET UP AND DO YOUR THING FOR OTHERS, and I am sure that it will come back to you in some kind of blessing or another..If it doesn’t at least you will go to bed knowing that you did something great for someone and what a feeling to carry around.

I know that I am about to get involved in something great..

P.S All I'm saying is Lalla has just gained herself a new fan ;)
